Electric Feelgood is a restaurant & bar located in Midtown in Houston, Texas and is clearly inspired by the late 80’s 90’s era - You feel it as soon as you walk in the bar! With her bold edgy love for color she was able to bring this 11,000 square foot space to life. It’s a throwback to those tv shows and vibes that make the late 80’s and 90’s so idyllic in our minds. From the 40 ft lite brite, the Reading Rainbow inspired neon sign and colorful wild wallpaper everywhere this place has Stacy’s creative eye all over it! And whether you’re in the mood to lounge, dance, or slide (no, but really) – Electric Feelgood has got you covered. The space features two floors, including a huge area on the second level that sports a seamless indoor-outdoor hanging area. It feels like a 90’s outdoor oasis with plenty of seating, games, and of course the slide! Stacy created a separate room upstairs that has a dark, dancey vibe that is perfect for letting loose and dancing the night away. The downstairs is more loungy with sofa seating and really feels like you’re in an 80’s teen movie at night with the glow of the pink lit chandeliers over every table. Electric Feelgood really does make you feel good.
This was SWI’s first hospitality project, as well as our first experience designing signage. Check out the photos!
